Adrienne Antonson is the creative force behind the NUBE Seattle line, managing its production, material selection, and aesthetic cohesion. The artist lives on an alpaca farm, where she works with a herd of 38 alpacas. The herd’s fleece has been a large inspiration for the first NUBE collection, taking shape in the form of knitwear and felted garments and accessories.
The NUBE Seattle line uses all local materials and labor from local craftsmen. Seamstresses, knitters, spinners, papermakers, and felters have designed unique, one of a kind pieces that directly reflect the local character of the Pacific Northwest. The goal of this line, available exclusively at NuBe Green, is to continually discover new sources of local materials and to celebrate local skills while evolving in a way that is conceptual, appealing, and sustainable.
